The Strand turns 80 this year and we want to celebrate with our customers.
On Saturday, October 13, the Strand will host a day-long Literary & Arts
Festival where our patrons can get up close and personal with authors and
artists. The schedule of appearances is listed below; all participants will
be happy to chat and sign copies of their books.
At 5:00, we will toast our customers and unveil The Strand 80, a list of our
customers' 80 favorite books. We will also draw the winners of the Strand 80
promotion; if you voted for your five favorite books, be here at 5:00 to see
if you won the entire library of 80 books!
