Rentals: Terms & Policies

Thank you for renting books from the Strand Book Store!

Please note: we will not refund canceled orders on rentals that we have already processed.

Please return the books by the date agreed upon and listed on this invoice.

Return all Books by the Foot rental orders to 828 Broadway to the front information desk and sign the Rental Returns Book located at the information desk on the Main Floor.

Any books you would like to pick out yourself to rent can be done so at the registers. Please let a Register Manager know this at the time of the transaction. They will need to record your information in our computers for our records. The price will be full cost of the books and half back on return except in the case of dollar books. When you return these books, please speak with the Registers Manager to get your half back refund.
