Local New York author Amanda Stauffer's upcoming debut novel is a contemporary exploration of the amazing and quirky frontier of dating in the digital age. At the behest of her loneliness and confusion brought on by two intense and ultimately failed relationships, New York resident Alison decides to dip her toes into the world of online dating. This decision launches her into a series of bizarre and awkward romantic endeavors that will sound all too familiar to many. But when Alison finds a real human connection with someone, will the culture of online dating eventually lead them apart?
Join us in the Rare Book Room as Amanda discusses her new book with Elite Daily dating editor Hannah Orenstein, matchmaker Julia Bekker, Jamie Blynn, Senior Entertainment Editor at Us Weekly, and Susan Swimmer!
