In Time for Valentine’s Day
Join Strand staff as they read sweet stories and lovely Valentine’s Day tales. This week we are reading 10 Valentine Friends: A Holiday Counting Book by Janet Schulman and illustrated by Linda Davick. Will each friend get a valentine? Help us count through this lively book to make sure that no one is left out.
4:00pm - 4:30pm Craft Time at the Strand For the crafty kids, Strand Staff will lead the children in a craft based on the day's reading following Storytime. We ask that each participant at Craft Time pay $5.
Today's craft: Make Valentines
Join us for Craft Time in the Children’s Corner! This week we will be making valentines! Participants will be gently guided in making creative and personalized valentines with their pick of materials: construction paper, card stock, tissue paper, craft foam, felt, glitter, stickers, and of course googley eyes. There will be a $5 fee per child for craft supplies.
All Children's events are held on the 2nd floor in the Children's Book Department.
