DISCOVERING DESIGN: Annabelle Selldorf

Monday May 9: 7:00PM 8:15PM

Annabelle Selldorf is the principal of Selldorf Architects, a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, and serves on the Board of the Architectural League of New York and the Chinati Foundation. Selldorf Architects has become known for galleries, cultural projects, as well as private homes. The Portfolio is a newly-shot, full color portfolio by renowned photographer Todd Eberle and is complimented by an in-depth look at the story behind 30 selected projects, including architectural plans and sketches.

Join Annabelle and Michael Bierut (Partner at Pentagram, Senior Critic at Yale School of Design and graphic designer of Selldorf's newly released monograph) for a conversation about her illustrious career and the buildings and landscapes that she’s shaped. The discussion will moderated by David Breslin, chief curator at the Menil Drawing Institute in Houston, Texas.

Buy a copy of Selldorf Architects or a $20 gift card in-store at Strand's main floor registers or at the door to attend. The event will be located in the Strand's 3rd floor Rare Book Room at our store at 828 Broadway at 12th Street.
