Natalie Joos celebrates Tales of Endearment at Artists & Fleas SoHo
Wednesday December 6: 6:00PM – 9:00PM
Join us at Artist & Fleas SoHo to revel in all things vintage. On Wednesday December 6th, fashion-forward photographer Natalie Joos will be celebrating her new release with a photo-shoot, author talk, and book signing. She will be set up at Artist & Fleas from 6pm to 8pm shooting photos of the best-dressed market-goers, some of which will be featured on her blog. Her talk and Q&A will start at 8pm and will be followed by a signing at 8:30pm.
Tales of Endearment, a companion to the popular website, is a collection of photos and stories by Natalie Joos featuring today's Who's Who of vintage clothing. The men and women that buy, collect, wear and love vintage come from all walks of life but share this one impartial passion: each one of their "tales" reveals a common motivation to celebrate the past and its many inspiring fashions.
Natalie Joos is a Belgian-born Writer / Photographer / Stylist. She has worked in the fashion industry since 1997, first in New York as Personal Assistant to writer Glenn O’Brien, then as Studio Manager for photographer Craig McDean. When she broke out on her own in 2003 she established a successful casting company. She launched Tales of Endearment in 2010 to share her passion for vintage and fashion as showcased by her chosen Muses and Look of the Week shoots. She also publishes extensive travel diaries and funny stories about her dating life in the Big Apple. She moved to Los Angeles early 2016.
This event will take place at Artists & Fleas SoHo, at 568 Broadway, New York, NY 10016.
