Join us in the rare books room for a special night – it could be hilarious, it could be heartwarming, or it could be truly moving. In any case, it will be a night to remember We have hosted greats such as David Sedaris, James Franco, Robert Caro and Marina Abramovic. Not only will you be surrounded by leather bound, signed copies of Ulysses, Chagall and Twain, but also you’re in for a engaging night with some of today’s cultural icons. We invite you to participate – ask questions, take photos, or simply take a back seat and enjoy the show.

In order to attend most events, we ask that you buy the book or purchase a gift card (that never expires). If you’re unable to make it, you can purchase a pre-signed copy of the book at hand. Be a part of the Strand wherever you may be. Please feel free to reach out to our Director of events, Emily Simpson at emily@strandbooks.com or call 212 473-1452 ext. 381.
