What kind of E-Gift Card options do you offer?

Customers have two options for sending E-Gift Cards:

  • a)      Email – Customers can have the E-Gift Card emailed directly to the recipient.
  • b)      Print at Home – Customers may print a paper version of the E-Gift Card at home to be hand-delivered to the recipient.

What are the amounts in which an E-Gift Card can be purchased?

E-Gift Cards may be purchased in any amount from $5.00 to $250.00. This includes odd numbers (i.e. $47.00). For faster checkout, there are also pre-selected amounts to choose from: $10, $25, $50, $75, $100, $250.

Can I order more than one E-Gift Card at a time?

Yes! You can order multiple gift cards for up to $500.00. E-Gift Cards can be purchased and emailed to different recipients.

Can I add a personal message to my E-Gift Card?

Absolutely! Personal messages can be added to any E-Gift Card. Maximum character limit is 250.

Do E-Gift Cards come with an image?

Yes, you may choose from six (6) templates similar to those used on our physical gift cards.

Can I upload my own image to use for an E-Gift Card?

Yes! You can click on the Add a Photo tab to upload a photo from your computer. Please note that there is a 10MB maximum limit for all uploaded images.

How quickly will I be able to print an E-Gift Card for hand-delivery?

You will receive an email within minutes of submitting your order. The email will contain a link to our E-Gift Card dashboard where you can print your E-Gift Card.

Both E-Gift Card options can be redeemed online through our website or in-store at the registers.

How do you redeem an E-Gift Card in the store?

Customers who receive an E-Gift Card via email can print out their E-Gift Card at home and present it to the cashier at the time of checkout. Customers who receive a printed, hand-delivered E-Gift Card should hold onto their E-Gift Card and present it to the cashier at the time of checkout.

How do you redeem an E-Gift Card online?

When checking out through our website, please be sure to select Gift Card as your payment option. Once selected, please be sure to enter all 19 digits from your E-Gift Card into the field provided. Do not include any spaces.

Why is a credit card required when using my E-Gift Card for online purchases, especially when the gift card has enough money on it to cover the entire order cost?

Good question! We require credit card information in case the balance of the E-Gift Card doesn’t cover the entire order cost. If your E-Gift Card only covers part of the order cost, then the remaining balance will be charged to your credit card. However, if the E-Gift Card covers the entire order cost, then your credit card will not be charged.

Are there time restrictions for when an E-Gift Card order can be placed?

Nope! E-Gift Cards can be ordered and sent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Are there any penalties or fees if the E-Gift Card isn’t redeemed after a certain amount of time?

Absolutely not! Recipients can redeem their E-Gift Card within five minutes of receiving it or five years from now. In either case, any balance will remain on the E-Gift Card.

How will I know if the recipient has received the E-Gift Card?

You will receive an email notification when the E-Gift Card has been viewed by the recipient.

What if the recipient claims that they never received the E-Gift Card or I accidentally sent it to the wrong email address?

No problem! Once you have placed an order for an E-Gift Card, you will receive access to your E-Gift Card dashboard. From the dashboard, you can resend the E-Gift Card, as well as entering a new email address if needed.

As the purchaser, you can:

Nope! All Strand Gift Cards are shipped free of charge via standard Economy shipping.

How long will it take for the recipient to receive their Strand Gift Card?

Please allow 1-2 business days (not including weekends) for processing time. Once mailed, gift cards should be delivered within 2-7 business days. Please note that the delivery time frame varies based on the proximity of the shipping address to our store. Additional time may be required for delivery to locations outside the continental U.S.

No. Technically, Strand Gift Cards are mailed (via standard Economy) and not shipped; therefore, tracking information is not available.
