Celebrate your special occasion, entertain clients, or promote your latest product surrounded by antiquarian masters -Charlotte Bronte, James Joyce, D.H. Lawrence, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Richard Prince and more.

The Strand Book Store, established on America's Book Row in 1927, offers a truly unique backdrop and environment for intimate dinner parties, cocktail receptions, private readings or screenings, workshops, classes, or whatever else brings people together.

The Rare Book Room, located on the 3rd floor of the Strand's landmark store at 12th Street and Broadway, can host as many as 200 people and can supply audio/video equipment, tables, chairs and support staff. Our Rare Book Room expert and Events Director will be at your service, to insure that your guests have the best possible experience.

Catering for our events is provided by Marcey Brownstein Catering, whose service and menu options are sure to impress gatherings of any size and palate.
