Ash + Chess is a new social stationery brand created by Ashley Molesso and Chessie Needham. They met on the internet and now they’re following their dreams of providing people with what they want - cute things that will make their hearts happy! Ashley and Chessie live happily in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. When they are not making cute cards and art for the world, Ashley works as a freelance textile and graphic designer and Chessie works as a high school teacher. Violet Clair Design & Illustration Studio

Samantha Rothenberg is the founder of Violet Clair Design & Illustration Studio. Before turning to a full-time career in illustration, she worked in fine art for several years producing events such as The Winter Antiques Show, The American Art Fair, and New York Botanical Garden's Garden, Sculpture, & Antiques Fair. She holds a master's degree in Fine and Decorative Art, and has published groundbreaking research on the topic of 19th-Century Lithography. The Times Square Alliance works to improve and promote Times Square – cultivating the creativity, energy and edge that have made the area an icon of entertainment, culture and urban life for over a century. The Alliance keeps the neighborhood clean and safe, promotes local businesses, manages area improvements, produces major events with partners (including New Year’s Eve, Taste of Times Square, and Solstice in Times Square: Mind Over Madness Yoga) and manages Times Square Arts, a public art program that collaborates with contemporary artists to experiment and engage with one of the world’s most iconic urban spaces.
