Bound volume containing some 1,200 signatures, including signatures from the royal family and their spouses such as Victoria, German Empress and Queen of Prussia, Albert Edward, the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII), Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh, Princess Louise, Duchess of Argyll, Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught, Princess Beatrice of Battenberg, Victoria Mary of Teck (later Queen Mary), Francis, Duke of Teck, Princess Mary Adelaide of Cambridge, and Prince George, Duke of Cambridge. Ref.: Swann, Autographs, March 9, 1989, lot 190, miscatalogued as Princess Beatrice's Guest Book. Plain blue cloth, all edges gilt with mild soiling and wear to boards including a 3' dampstain to the top of the front joint. Light scratching on the rear board as well as some fraying to the extremities. Slight wear and chipping to the edges of textured white endpapers. Repair to the bottom portion of the final written leaf. VG.
