Amaranth

Ami isn't like the other females in her class.

She's Vincian, a foreigner in Rascu and someone is after her. After an assassination attempt under the police chief's nose, Ami convinces him to enter her into the military. But it won't be easy. Jasmine, the newly elected dictator, wants to use Ami to further her political ambitions. The cadets don't want a female in their midst and the generals are searching for any reason to deport her back to Vinci.

All Ami wants to do is feel safe and free the slaves. Is that too much to ask?
