Archaeological Sciences '97

Science is affecting all areas of contemporary archaeology. This volume contains 25 of the papers (and 18 abstracts) presented at the 1997 Conference on Archaeological Sciences held at Durham University. The major discussion topics include recent studiesin technology, materials analysis and provenance, biochemical studies, environmental studies, geoarchaeology, and chronological studies.
