Before Dawn

In book two of the After Dark Series trilogy, the amateur vampire hunters find a tantalizing clue that leads them on a cross-country trek to chase the vampiress Eva, who leaves a trail of corpses to join a new and larger colony of the undead. Meanwhile, Eva has kidnapped Lisa, Jimmy, and Bo and plans to kill them in a black vampire ritual. The amateur vampire hunters join forces with the Brethren, cross-bow-wielding professional vampire fighters that was organized in Europe during the Middle Ages.
