Beyond the Gap

Nidaros, the capital city of the old Raumsdalian Empire, has, for centuries, sat at the edge of the great Glacier; however, the Glacier has retreated a few feet every year, and now the ice cap has disappeared beyond the horizon. Trasamund, a clan chief from the next tribe north, has come to Nidaros with strange news. A narrow gap has opened in what was always assumed to be an impenetrable wall of ice, and ancient legend says that on the other side is the Golden Shrine, put there by the gods to guard the people of their world. Now, with the opportunity to see this monumental event, Count Hamnet Thyssen, Trasamund, and others set out on a remarkable journey to discover the true boundary of the world.
