C.R.E.A.M.

Karima "Cream" Thomas is an ex-con from the mean streets of Philly. When her ex-boyfriend Duane Faison, a street savvy drug dealer who essentially got her locked up in the first place, says he wants her back, Karima has to forcefully decline. She realizes that the only way to make a clean break from her past is to do something she's never done before...ask for help. She turns to her aunt Marilyn, a powerful City Council woman, for a job and a place to stay. But when the mayor dies and her aunt is sworn in, Karima's past comes to light and the police accuse her of the crime. Only by hitting the streets can "Cream" clear her name and save her aunt from the real killer.
