Cursed Magic

I'm a witch. Or so they tell me.

Finding out I'm a witch isn't even the weirdest part of my day. Having the guy who hated me in high school stand before me to tell me that I am, is.

Somehow, I'm supposed to learn spells and how to ground myself to the elements, fight the fact that I want him like I want air, and make sure my parents aren't part of a shadow coven trying to pull me over to the dark side. If I don't, I'll be lost to the darkness forever.

Yeah. No problem.

Except that I don't necessarily believe in witches but when he proves it to me, I throw myself in.

Being a witch might be the most interesting thing about me. My parents being dark witches definitely explains a lot about my childhood.

If I hadn't wanted to break free of them before, I sure as hell did now.

And with Miller's help, I might just be able to do it.
