Dancing through the darkness

Everyone has a story to tell. This is Cristina's. Born in the inner suburbs of Melbourne in the mid 1950s to migrant parents, this is a story of wonder, spiritual experiences, and sometimes danger as she discovered the excitement of the music scene, dance, and the world. From meeting local celebrities, to dancing in a palace in the Middle East, Cristina lived a wild and adventurous life, always open to possibility, experimentation, and hope. At times this openness was exploited, yet she persisted to live the life she dreamed of, always dancing on a tightrope between the Material and Spiritual World.

This book is for people with a sense of adventure, and who, like Cristina, have lived their life with a passion for music, dance and freedom. Written during her recovery from breast cancer, this a story of hope, love and compassion for ourselves and each other, in a world that can sometimes be harsh and challenging. Cristina has danced through the darkness, into the light and invites you to share her story.
