Delta Blue

Ken, a black police officer in a small, Mississippi Delta town, is paired with Brietta, a white prosecutor, as they prepare a murder case for trial. He falls in love, despite being haunted by ghosts of a past relationship, and the awareness that attitudes among former classmates and people in the town he serves have not changed. And through it all, he has a workplace adversary, Nelson, who frequently finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time.
