EXCLUSIVE CHILDREN’S BOOK SIGNING: Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton & Chelsea Clinton

Wednesday November 29: 6:00PM 9:00PM

The careers of Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton have taken them around the world and introduced them to people from all walks of life. In their books for young children, they’ve translated these experiences into welcoming and inspiring messages of community and perseverance.

It Takes a Village, former Secretary of State and Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton’s first book for young readers, is inspired by the themes of her classic New York Times bestselling book It Takes a Village. Illustrated by two-time Caldecott Honor recipient Marla Frazee, it asks readers, What can they do to make the world a better place?

In She Persisted, Chelsea Clinton introduces tiny feminists, mini activists and little kids who are ready to take on the world to thirteen inspirational women who never took no for an answer, and who always, inevitably and without fail, persisted. The book features stunning illustrations by Alexandra Boiger.
