Follow the Buendia family through generations from the founding of their beloved town Macondo to the last living descendants struggling to keep the memory of their forebears alive. There's enough symbolism on these pages to keep someone busy for one hundred years. This hugely influential novel is unforgivably original, and you may be constantly asking yourself, "So what does THAT mean?" The text has richness to spare.
