Dark Bloods...

It was a part of history the eleven remaining kingdoms wanted to forget but evil is rising again. Tavi knew the stories but still craved adventure and freedom from a loving but smothering family. After marriage, inquiries are issued for her, and suitors begin to respond. Tavi and her best friend, a pixie named Arlo, decide to run away before she is trapped in a marriage she doesn't want. Things get complicated when she realizes there is more to the kingdoms than she was raised to believe. From merfolk and dwarves to elves and fairies, nothing is quite what she thought it would be. It would be the adventure of a lifetime if it weren't for the rising tide of dark blood attacks and a looming war. Along the way, she somehow finds her way into the middle of it all.
