This catalogue is published in conjunction with the exhibition (2005-2007). This present catalogue comprises new essays, the first publication of all texts and interviews by and with sculptor Fred Sandback, statements from colleagues, collectors, curators, and his long-time dealers, and a thoroughly detailed chronology from 1967 to 2005, richly illustrated with installation views, photographs of the artist at work, and documentary materials such as invitation cards and catalogues, etc. A core of some fifty works from all categories in the artist's oeuvre have been selected for this present exhibition/catalogue.
