Grayson

Lynne Cox, the author of "Swimming to Antarctica," was out for a morning swim some two hundred yards off shore, when she noticed that she was being follow. With a half-mile of swimming to go, Lynne realized that a baby gray whale was swimming with her. Lynne had been swimming for an hour, and she needed to get out of the water to rest. Lynne also realized that the baby whale may follow her to shore where it would surely die. The immature whale was in the middle of an8,000 mile-long migration and needed its mother for sustenance. If Lynne didn't find the mother, the baby would starve to death. "Grayson" is the amazing, and true story of what happened to Lynne and her whale friend.
