Grotesque

An established name in her native Japan, Natsuo Kirino composed more than sixteen novels before making a splash on American shores with the Edgar Award nominated "Out." In her first follow up, the author continues to stun with another psychologically dark vision of violence in the Japanese underbelly. Toyko prostitutes Yuriko and Kazue have been murdered, and a suspect has fully accepted responsibility for at least one of the killings.
