Roma MacKinnon was born and raised in Glasgow Scotland. She immigrated to Canada at eighteen years old. She is currently married for a second time to her best friend Ian she has three sons and four grand children. This book was inspired by personal stories from Roma's life and her families battle with alcoholism. It is a book of lightness and darkness, truth and inspiration it is told from the heart. It is a book of help, hope and healing and a true memoir of vulnerability and grace. It is a monumental journey of courage and love, shared with family and dear friends.
