In 2120, Devina Culzean entered the National Procreation Program as required by the terms of her parents' fertility treatment. She's unhappy to be matched to playboy billionaire Ryu, but Devina is determined to prove herself to him and his mother, Ayako.

Ayako challenges Devina to purchase an extravagant wedding dress suitable for her new life. Devina finds work at an eco-tourism lodge in northern Alberta. However, the North challenges her in both nature and her co-workers.
