Naked Singularity

The hero of this rambling novel is a public defender in New York City, and his client has just died. The police are certain the kid had a large sum of money on him when he died, but nobody is sure what happened to it, not even his perpetually frustrated lawyer, who has had enough with the system. So he tells the cops that he knows where the money is hidden, and his life is never the same.
