This is a quote by Elizabeth Kolbert. Because the irony here is that a book like this you would think might be in the fiction section. But it is so real it is scary. The Author takes you through Billions of years on this planet and even though there have been mass extinctions before. The one taking place in front of our eyes. Is moving very quick and from many directions. Our eco system is collapsing. It's not just the global warming naysayers vs the tree huggers. We have really big problems. This book does an awesome job of describing what is going on with our planet. And what we could expect in the years to come. It's quit sad what we have done not only to other innocent creatures but to ourselves.
