Years ago, Neil Cassidy and Thomas Bible built a friendship on the theory they created called The Argument. The Argument posits that free will is an illusion because all choices that humans make are the product of neural process- and therefore predetermined. Since choices are the cornerstone of morality, Neil lives his life without regard for pubic ideals of right and wrong. Thomas has long since deserted The Argument, but when the FBI contacts Thomas, hoping he can help them track down Neil, who is AWOL and possibly crazy, Thomas is thrown right back into the complexities of The Argument. "Neuropath" is a pulse-pounding, terrifying novel of the possible ramifications of technological advances.
