Disillusioned with home life, Molloy makes up his mind to leave. An adventurous teenager, he begins his new life by first paying for a special tattoo. In the weeks and months that follow he learns to believe in himself as he alone makes decisions, develops relationships, and considers choices. He soon realizes that part of growing up is reconciling with the past, and choosing to trust in the future.
