A collection of astonishing satellite imagery - 150 color pictures that have been gathered by the German Aerospace Center in collaboration with its partners at NASA and with space centers from Mexico to India. The photographs have been made by satellites - some more than 22,000 miles above the equator - transmitted as electronic data and then pieced together by many different scientists to reveal what is not visible to the human eye: thefloor of the ocean bed, geological strata, and the eye of a hurricane.
