Robert Longo

This publication spans 30 years of the career of acclaimed artist Robert Longo - painter, sculptor, and filmmaker, who draws his subjects from photographs, the movies, television, magazines & comic strips. His works explore the signficance of pictures/symbols in popular culture as well as the alienation of the individual. He achieved critical acclaim in the 1980s with "Men in the Cities", a dynamic series depicting modern business men/women in contorted positions.
