Schiele

Considered one of the most significant post-Klimt Austrian artists, Egon Schiele (1890-1918), received almost nil recognition during his abbreviated lifetime. His favorite subjects, female nudes and self-portraits, sound a note of defiance, provocation, and rebellion.
