'Madison Schaeffer is coming of age at Riverfront Academy, torn between confessing her love to her best friend; Odd Darling or leaving their friendship as it is. She is swallowed by adventure when a sun flare blinds the girl, causing her to become flustered by the sudden change. In Shadow Hearts, her brother, Frederick Schaeffer accompanies her upon being thrust into a mystery where they uncover a virtual realm; Luna. Diving into the virtual realm of Luna reveals more than Madison is ready to accept until she has to face the music, accepting her love for Odd Darling in the end. There's just one other problem, not everything is as it seems when they have to face off against more than Luna itself.
