Audrey Juarez is a college student with the world at her fingertips. She volunteers at a homeless shelter in her free time, hoping to rebuild a broken system from the ground up. While there, she meets Evan Byrd, a beautiful young man with a troubled past and a gorgeous singing voice. Drawn to his sweet smile time and time again, Audrey has to ask herself: does she want to help Evan back onto his feet, or let him sweep her off of hers?

"What's the difference between a book and a musician?" I ask.

Evan thinks for a moment. "No idea."

I smile. "You should always judge a musician by their covers."
