Navigating childhood can be difficult for any child at any time, but especially today. Almost exclusively, gone are the days in which one parent is a 'house' parent who tends to a child's every need. In Lila's home, both parents balance big jobs with raising their children and socializing with their peers. Lila, in an attempt to have all her needs met, plays the "Win over the parents game." Sometimes she wins and sometimes she doesn't.
