Bruno Cadagon is an NYU graduate student whose dreams of adventure leads him to the enchanting city of Buenos Aires. Upon arriving in Argentina, Bruno begins his search for the elusive Julio Martel, a man who many consider the greatesttango singer of all time. The problem is that Martel never announces where he will perform, and no one knows where he lives. As Bruno hunts down the famed singer, the city hovers on the verge of chaos due to an economic crisis. Bouncing from venue to venue, in hot pursuit of Martel, Bruno begins to realize that the singer's performances are far from random - in fact, they form a map of the cities darkest history.
