The 1960's Blues

A political allegory of the Vietnam War, 1960s Blues is the story of two childhood friends who come home from a war their country could not win and find themselves disillusioned and disconnected. The only country left to them they still believe in is each other and a charter fishing boat they acquire from an "end run" around the establishment. The vessel, which they name Odyssey: befitting of their own world journey becomes their home, livelihood and most importantly, ship of state.
When they fall into the trough of a deep recession and Odyssey is threatened, they do what they have been trained to do and know how to do best; they fight to keep her, at all costs.
A timeless tale of veterans from Bunker Hill to Baghdad, and the women who love them.
