The Exception

Four women work together for a small nonprofit in Copenhagen that disseminates information on genocide. After featuring a series of articles on a Serbian torturer and war criminal named Mirko Zigic, they begin receiving death threats which stoke their fears. Escalating tensions between the four lead them to suspect each other, commencing a witch hunt that offers a bracing paradox to their work researching cases of appalling cruelty on a worldwide scale. They discover that none of them is exactly the person she seems to be. And then they learn that Interpol has traced Mirko Zigic's whereabouts to Denmark.
