The Inheritance

As a young 23 year old New Zealander growing up in the 1960's, the peaceful and sheltered life of David Meiklejohn was about to dramatically change forever.
After the recent death of his parents, David discovers that his parents are not who he thought they were. A request to travel to Spain and collect an enormous inheritance spirals David into a network of blackmail and deceit dating back to the Spanish War by the cruel and sadistic Duke of Astoria. David finds himself fighting for survival against an unknown assassin. Through a series of complicated incidents and deaths, this adventurous thriller sends David on a quest to discover who his parents really were. Why had he been secretly raised in New Zealand, and why does someone want to kill him?
