The Map

Malik Patterson is a 49-year-old community center director trying to keep it all together in Huntsville, Alabama.

A former professor, a father navigating distance, a son working through a strained relationship with his own father, Malik lives his life to the rhythm of hip hop-80s, 90s, and early 2000s. But when he begins reflecting on loss, legacy, and love, Malik realizes he never mapped out how to fully live.
