The Wright Twist

Josie Daval writes a story about a plucky young girl in 1906 who, along with her brothers, witnesses the first flight of Orville and Wilbur Wright. Set against a backdrop of summertime fun in the country, it is full of adventrures and mishaps throughout that first summer of flight. Takes place in Dayton, Ohio. Highly educational and a perfect read for 5-8th graders.
