Tigor

Giacopo Tigor is a professor of mathematics, a proponent of Euclidean geometry reeling from a succession of intellectual defeats sustained at the hands of the chaos theory advocates. While returning to his homeland, he realizes that he can no longer deal with the banal constraints of his life and he runs off to fulfill his boyhood dreams. On his voyages, he experiences a vision of Mount Ararat and this vision turns into his quest, to find the remains of Noah's Ark. Jungk received a nomination for the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize for this book, his previous titles include "Franz Werfel, A Life From Prague to Hollywood" and "The Perfect American."
