SOMETIMES, ON DOWN DAYS WHEN MY LIFE IS STRIPPED BARE.

All that I have are the words that I share

It isn't your company but your silent support

As I live by my words and within my poetry, I resort

On good days I'm inspired to get paper and pen

My heart runneth over then there's a poem again

When I'm full of pride of my kids I am so proud

I'm not one to be vocal but my words say it loud

If it's a friend that is feeling all battered and blue

Heartfelt words spring to mind and the poems for you

So, if my poems can help you then I've done my part

They may help with your feelings, or mend your poor heart

Whatever they do, to help you somehow

I give you my words to use here and now.
