Wounded Cities

This unique publicatio combines sixty intensely evocative photographs from photographer Leo Rubinfien's project, which commenced in 2002, in the aftermath of 9/11 - that of photographing in cities around the world - London, Nairobi, Kuta Beach, Moscow, Buenos Aires, Istanbul, Colombo, among others. For over five years Rubinfien searched out the hidden "mental wound" beyond the physical destruction. The book's unusual page design - every page is a fully printed gatefold - weaves the photographer's images and words into one of the more original books to have been produced in the photographic field.
